In June 2024, River Bushwillow Estate embarked on an exciting and environmentally significant project. Thanks to the generous contributions from our residents, we successfully installed owl houses and bat hotels on the estate’s common property. This initiative, carried out by Eco Solutions, marks a significant step towards enhancing our local ecosystem and promoting biodiversity.
Project Details
Eco Solutions installed a total of six structures:
- 2 Spotted Eagle Owl Houses
- 2 Barn Owl Houses
- 2 Bat Hotels
These installations were strategically placed in various locations across the estate, ensuring they meet the specific habitat requirements of each species identiefied in the estate. The careful consideration of these locations will help provide safe and suitable homes for our local owl and bat populations.
